I think of therapy as a wilderness exploration. We may not know exactly where we are or where we're going. It's not about predefined paths nor a specific destination. It is an ongoing, dynamic process of discovery and creation. As we embark on this journey together, the pace is set by you. Our work becomes a form of map making: of where we are as we go; of what reveals itself to us in the process; of what it means to be human.
This journey is an invitation to venture into the uncertain, unfamiliar, and unknown; to navigate the contradictions and complexities of life; and to embrace the givens and mysteries of existence with curiosity, openness, and wonder. Perhaps in doing so, we may find harmony within the chaos, meaning amidst life's ambiguities, and beauty in our becoming.
As an existential depth psychotherapist, I am a curious companion, traveler of paradox, and explorer of unknowns. Some parts of my identity include: neurodivergent, queer, non-binary (they/he), white-bodied, artist, and musician. Together, let's discover and honor the many parts of you, embracing your uniqueness within an ever-diverse and interconnected web.
