Mental health may not be prioritized in your culture or family; as a 1.5 generation Filipina-American immigrant, I understand the complexities of finding your own path to healing. I serve individuals and couples with relationship conflicts, childhood and intergenerational trauma, and systemic wounding from colonization and capitalism. You may have never had the chance to figure out what you want and need—this might show up as anxiety, depression, difficulty forming or keeping relationships or feelings of unworthiness. You’re struggling with feeling stuck and are ready for something different. Together we can explore what needs healing so you may find the ease and health that you deserve.

I’m an Integrative Gestalt psychotherapist with a focus on liberation, decolonization and trauma-informed care. I am non-pathologizing and I consider each person the expert of their own experience. However you show up to each session, I will hold your unique truth and offer understanding, context and curiosity. My style is collaborative and will aid in building greater awareness in the present moment. Through this approach, we may find more context to your pain, new choices and new ways of being and healing. I also utilize tools from IFS (Internal Family Systems) as well as somatic, psychodynamic and liberation psychology.

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy, or you are taking another step on your therapy journey, I want to acknowledge and celebrate the time that you are taking to support yourself. Therapy can be a place to give breathing room to the pain and challenges that you may be holding. Together we can explore and address what needs healing so you may experience the ease and health that you deserve.
