It takes bravery to bloom and we aren’t meant to do it alone.

Each of us is born with an innate capacity to grow, heal and even transform. Let’s be real though, the mere thought of flourishing can often seem out of reach due to the challenges we’re navigating, the weight of our past, or the thoughts and emotions that overwhelm us. If you’ve ever felt this way, then I’m glad you are here. Sometimes you just need someone by your side to help you untangle the knots and move through whatever is blocking your bloom.

Like you, I have many facets. I’m a warm, playful, and quirky human who loves connecting with others. I am Mexican-American, of primarily Native American (Chichimeca) descent, with Spanish, Basque, African, and other wonderfully mixed ancestries. I am a genderqueer cis woman and a dedicated practitioner of meditation, a theater artist, dancer, community organizer, and social justice activist. My personal identity journey—shaped by decolonization, ancestral connection, and resistance —forms the foundation of my anti-oppressive and liberatory approach to therapy which deeply honors your multilayered identities, experiences and autonomy.

I cultivate a compassionate, curious, non-judgmental and creative space where you can tend to difficult feelings and experiences, strengthen grounding roots, deepen personal insight, and nurture changes that support your well-being—celebrating your uniqueness and growth every step of the way. I enjoy getting to know what makes my clients laugh and light up because that light can carry us through dark times. I show up authentically, as my whole self, and hold brave space for you to do the same. Our work together incorporates the richness of your cultural background, spiritual beliefs, dreams, bodily messages, subtle intuitions and deep inner knowing. My ultimate intention is to help you access the potential for healing and expansion within yourself so you feel better equipped to navigate life's continuous ebb and flow.

While therapy is most certainly work, I understand that it can also be playful. In addition to talk therapy, I incorporate drama therapy-an active approach that engages your body, imagination and intuition through techniques like improvisation, movement, role play, storytelling and art making. These methods can help you express emotions, strengthen underdeveloped parts of yourself, foster healthy internal dialogue, discover new perspectives, explore fresh approaches to old problems and connect with internal strengths you may not even know are there. You don’t need to have any prior experience with drama or creative practices—this isn’t about performance, but rather about using creativity to explore your inner life and uncover new insights. Everything is optional, and I meet you where you are, adapting to what feels most helpful for you.

I work in person because I believe in the healing power of being together in the same space. However, I do offer virtual sessions to my in- person clients when needed.
