It takes bravery to bloom and we aren’t meant to do it alone.

I firmly believe that each of us is born with an innate capacity to grow, heal and even transform. Let’s be real though, the mere thought of flourishing can feel out of reach, or even impossible due to what we’ve been through, challenges we are navigating in real time or the thoughts and feelings that overwhelm us. I’m glad you are here.

Sometimes you just need someone by your side to help you untangle the knots and move through whatever is blocking your bloom. I cultivate open-hearted, supportive, embodied and creative space for people to tend to dark places, strengthen grounding roots, deepen personal insight and celebrate their growth as they move towards healing and expansion.

Like you, I am a lot of things. I am a warm, playful and quirky human who has always enjoyed connecting with people. I am a Mexican-American of primarily Native American descent, as well as Spanish, Basque, African and other fabulously mixed ancestry! I am a gender queer cis woman. I am also a dedicated and grateful practitioner of mediation, a theater artist, dancer, community organizer, social justice activist and nature lover who places decolonization, liberation and ancestral connection at the center of my  life. I believe that body, mind and spirit are all connected. I talk to plants even if people are watching!  Prior to studying therapy I was a professional theatre director and professor teaching acting, improvisation and movement for actors which is where I witnessed the powerful medicine dramatic process and arts based play. This led me to study drama therapy, an incredible modality that I’m jazzed to be able to share with people. While therapy is most certainly work, I know that it can also be play.  I enjoy getting to know all facets of my clients, especially what makes them laugh, smile and light up because that light can carry us through dark times.

I work with people at all stages of life who are interested in personal growth, whether they’re looking for short-term goals or a deeper journey of self-discovery. I’m passionate about helping those who are curious and open to exploring beyond traditional talk therapy by using creative, hands-on methods. While we’ll definitely talk through things, I also offer a variety of approaches that engage your body and intuition, going beyond just words to tap into your deeper instincts. No experience with art, drama, or creative practices is needed—I meet you where you are and adapt to what feels most comfortable. I prefer in-person sessions because I believe there’s something powerfully healing about being together in the same space. However, I do offer virtual sessions when needed for convenience.
